Anna Smith

Curiosity is the force that keeps me going. I have a reputation for asking WHY and then figuring out the answers. I asked that question a lot at Scholastic, the Smithsonian Institute, Time Life, National Geographic Kids, and Sesame Place. It is there that I created children’s media that educated through gamification, puzzles, and immersive stories. That skill proved useful when educating consumers and B2B audiences about brands and products. I worked for the top advertising PR agencies in UK, US, and Canada. I launched and managed global and US initiatives, for a variety of high-profile products, in health, beauty, smoking cessation, household products, diabetes care, sports, and food/beverage. I launched million-dollar brands and breathed life into hallmark products for such clients as Unilever, Gilead, HBO, BET, Pfizer, NFL, MAC Cosmetics, Novartis, Merck, and Abbott. Ultimately, I saw an unmet need in the agency world—no one was specialising in creating brand worlds, which are bigger than any logo or any ad. That’s why I formed ACOMPANY Creative Lab, a full-service communication agency, with a focus on a holistic approach to creating brand cultures and championing their lifecycle. I also became certified by the Advertising Ethics Green Shield—and if you’re interested in my awards, I have been recognised in advertising, design, and UX, including a Webby. But perhaps the greatest reward is getting a repeat call from a client who appreciates what we do and the services we provide.

Sean Smith

My pursuit of combining music and art into a career began during my study abroad program at Royalty Studios, College of Art in London. I can confidently say that during my extensive career I worked with every large music label and quite a few obscure ones. At Capitol Records and Virgin Music, I launched and supervised the brands of musical icons like Lenny Kravitz, the Rolling Stones, Christina Aguilera, and Jared Leto. I created campaigns, merch, packaging, styling, stage, and environmental design. When music started to evolve into a space I no longer felt connected to, I worked at boutique agencies and later as an independent consultant, specialising in high-profile brands, creating everything from restaurant decor and clothing lines to experiences that leave a long-lasting impression and lead to brand recognition and continued engagement for Rémy Martin, Sephora, Ford, Kiehl’s, GE, Pfizer, Abbott, and ESPN. My brand work and art has won awards and has been published in Communication Arts and Archive. My contributions to the music industry are featured in the Rock n’Roll Hall of Fame, and I am proud to be an annual judge and a very involved member of the Grammys.

I take comfort in discomfort, always exploring innovation to drive change and exceptional results. I started my career in healthcare market research, which led to the discovery of my passion for creative communications. I now have over 20 years' experience in the healthcare sector, during which time I built a reputation for my ability to identify and solve complex business and communications problems creatively and efficiently. I have a wealth of experience in developing differentiated strategies and innovative and effective campaigns, at every stage of the brand lifecycle, for Global, EMEA, US- and UK- domestic marketing, medical affairs, and corporate communication teams. My experience and understanding of HCP and patient behaviours spans across a multitude of therapy areas. I apply that knowledge to brands in and out of the healthcare industry to change minds and behaviours.
